Brussels Sprouts Three Ways

I feel like brussels sprouts are the kind of the food that people either really love or really hate, there is no in-between. Personally, I love the versatility they bring and how amazing they taste when crispy.

If you’re new to cooking brussels sprouts, here are three delicious ways to prepare them. All recipes require trimming and slicing them in half beforehand.

Pan Fried:

Quite honestly the easiest way to make them. Start by heating up some olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced and trimmed brussels sprouts and cook until medium-soft and outside is golden brown, about 10 minutes.

I added fried eggs on top of this dish with some goat cheese mozzarella, but you can really do whatever you want with them after cooking.

Pan Fried with Bacon:

Cut up your bacon into smaller pieces and cook on medium heat. Once the bacon starts to cook down and you have some fat in the pan, add in your brussels sprouts and cook for about 10 mins until golden brown. Serve just like that with some salt and pepper or add some grated parmesan on top.

Roasted in the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees celsius. Toss brussels sprouts in olive oil and place on a baking sheet. Top them with garlic powder and grated parmesan (optional). Place in oven for 20 mins.
